The first think i have to say is that I am not going to look at all the 2009 line up here apart from the 883 which you already know we love for various reasons I’ve picked 2 bikes which really stand out The cross bones and the 1200 Nightster. I did consider writing about the Rocker but there is just something that I don’t quite like about it and the annoying thing is I can’t put my finger on what it is.
Harley recently revealed their models for 2009 the cheapest model is once again the XL Sporster 883 coming in at under $7000. At just around 25 inches hig this is the perfect bike if you lack height. The lower ride height is achieved by lowering the front and rear suspensions.

One of the easiest and best performance mods that you can do to your 883 is to upgrade it to a 1200. This is actually suprisingly easy and the bottom ends are the same and the cylinder heads just need to be bored and honed and new pistons fitted. The power increase is about 20 horsepower and you’ll get an estimated additional 20 lbs of torque. are readily available and are an excellent option
